Alejandro Quincoces, born in 1951 in Bilbao (Spain), is a contemporary painter known for his melancholic urban landscapes. A former advertising professional, he has devoted himself entirely to painting for over thirty years, bringing a sharp sense of composition shaped by his graphic background.

His work explores the fringes of the city: highways, industrial zones, bridges, construction sites—spaces in transition that he transforms into metaphors for solitude, the passage of time, and the human condition.
